Thanksgiving Quilt Making Workshop for Kids
Tuesday - Thursday, November 24-26, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. - American Corner (Mária u. 9.)

The 3-day workshop will be a special Thanksgiving related event. With groups of primary school children we are planning to make a huge quilt decorated with Native American symbols. The series of events is a dedication to Thanksgiving, to Native American art, and to the notion of reusing and recycling as well. In the workshop we are using leftover textils only. Experts of the local NGO, "Környezetünkért Közalapítvány" are helping the children in planning and making their small piece of the quilt. Also we would like to reflect to the importance of quilt making as an authentic American pattern.
